How this journey began…

I grew up on the south side of Kaua’i

on Wailā’au Road. It was a lush, warm, and serene place. The land and my parents taught me how to fish, sew, forage, repair things, care for animals, and be one with curiosity.

In 1998, I moved to O’ahu

and graduated from Kamehameha Schools in 2002. I followed my passion to study family resources and early childhood education at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa. One year before completing my bachelor’s, I married my husband Matthew and had our first child.

My work in early childhood ed

was short-lived when I birthed our second child and realized that I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom. During nap times and late at night, my first entrepreneurial venture was birthed: ME+U Baby. For the next few years, our baby products became the popular vehicle that led people to seek us out for sewing lessons at ME+U Sewing.

Sewing opened up a world of possibilities

as we taught children and adults to harness their creativity.

Unfortunately, after building our two businesses up to multiple wholesale accounts and 500 sewing students,

I burned out

and shut everything down in the fall of 2016. It was a very difficult time for me. However, it was the ultimate pause in life. I needed to inventory what health, wealth, and success really meant to me. I could no longer look at things in a one-dimensional way. This is where I found my deeper passion for

Holistic Health

My long-time acupuncturist began teaching me traditional Chinese Medicine and acupressure. This practice reminded me so much of my lomilomi lessons with my grandmother and the balance and serenity I felt on Kaua’i. As I studied with my mentor, I was simultaneously learning about plant medicine through essential oils.

On September 19th of 2018

I married my two passions and began offering Acupressure services in my home office, which we call the Treehouse. I’m here to serve the women who, like myself, are managing households, business, and their own healing. They value presence, trust, and excellence and are willing to do the work. We support you with the same

grace, rest, and education

that allowed me to find peace during my difficult times in life. Here, we believe that you are a multidimensional and whole person. We DO NOT heal you or your ailments. Instead we hold the space for you to find the

peace, wisdom, and inspiration

that lights up your own path of healing. Everyone’s path looks different, but we all need love, forgiveness, truth, and compassionate support in our growth.

Do everything in love.
